ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The St. Thomas U18BB Panthers brought home silver from the St. Catharines Brock Badgers tournament. The Panthers went 4-0, before falling to Toronto Leaside, in the final.
Allie Tales and Anna Muscat led the Panthers with two goals and three assists each, over the five games.
Brooklyn Hewitt had a pair of goals and Reese Robichaud, picked up four assists.

STRATHROY, Ont. - The St. Thomas Panthers made sure they were bringing home a title. Andie Dekker scored twice and goalie Caroline Rogers was perfect, as the Panthers blanked the Bluewater Hawks, 5-0, to capture the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League U11 HL title. Samantha Lee, Austen Goebel and Ivee Benwell, also scored.

ST. THOMAS - A late third period come back has the St. Thomas Panthers two points away from a title. Andie Dekker and Kensley Rundle scored within a mnute of each other, lifting the Panthers over Bluewater, 4-3, in game one of the Western Ontario League U11 HL four point final, Monday at Memorial Arena.

ST. THOMAS - They went didn't win a game in three round robin U18 B games, but the St. Thomas Panthers turned it around for the playoff portion of the tournament. The U18 Panthers was the lone host team to win their division at the Panthers on the Prowl tournament, this weekend in St. Thomas and Aylmer. Tessa Pellerine scored, while goalie Rachel Annett had the shutout.

ST. THOMAS - The Panthers on the Prowl, an annual three day girls' hockey tournament is taking place this weekend at the Joe, Memorial and the East Elgin Community Centre. Over 50 teams are competing in 11 divisions from U11 to U18.

Purchases support the Panthers and help encourage players, parents and coaches to wear a mask to help stop the spread of COVID-19. ST. THOMAS - It was a solid way to start the new girls' hockey season. The St. Thomas Panthers won the midget and bantam A and BB finals, at their Big Cat Preseason Showcase hockey tournament this weekend.
Over the past three days, 40 teams from as far as Ottawa, Buffalo, Detroit and Syracuse, New York, competed in the atom, peewee, bantam and midget divisions.
Host teams made four finals and won each of them.
The midget A Panthers blanked Farmington Hills Little Caesers, 1-0, on a goal from Jaimie Giles. The BB midgets shutout the North Durham Blades, 2-0. The host won a battle of two Panthers bantam A teams, 3-1, over Central York. In the bantam BB final, St. Thomas scored twice late to edge the Haldimand
River Cats, 2-1.

ST. THOMAS - Patty Henry-Huff may have been feeling unwell but she gave St. Thomas Panthers a good feeling. The Panthers' forward scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over the West Oxford Inferno, in the midget B bronze medal game, at the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) provincial championships, in Toronto, April 5-7th.

THOMAS - Already with an appearance in the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) Midget A provincials secured, the St. Thomas Panthers are aiming to have a spot at the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) final weekend as well. The Panthers will need to come behind in the LLFHL West Division four point final, after dropping game one, 4-2, to the Windsor Wildcats, Thursday, at the Joe.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Panthers will take on the Windsor Wildcats in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League West Division Midget A final, starting Thursday, at the Joe. The series winner advances to the six team LLFHL Midget A championship weekend, March 29-31. Windsor has won three of the five previous meetings this season. St. Thomas is 35-9-11 overall this season, including winning two tournaments.
In the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League, St. Thomas C faces Lucan in the Novice group A final, while the Panthers' house league team takes on the Lambton Attack, in the Novice group D flight.

ST. THOMAS - Two host teams won gold while two more settled for silver at the St. Thomas Panthers on the Prowl tournament. The annual three day event attracted teams from across southern Ontario competing in novice, atom, peewee, bantam and midget divisions.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Panthers hosted the first of two tournaments this season, the Big Cat Preseason Showdown, at the Joe Thornton Centre and East Elgin Community Centre, in Aylmer.
The three day event with nine divisions started Friday, with teams from as far away as Whitby, Sarnia and Buffalo. The host team won two divisions, Midget A and bantam A.
The BAD Girls took the bantam B title.

The Panthers defeated the Sarnia Lady Sting in the gold medal game, 4-2, after downing the Goulbourn Rockets, by the same score, in a semifinals this morning. The Panthers were 3-0 in pool play, before edging Kemptville, 2-1, in the quarter-finals.

TORONTO, ON - The St. Thomas Panthers' novice C team will be playing for a gold medal, at the Ontario Women's Hockey Assocation (OWHA) provincial championships. The Panthers face the Sarnia Lady Sting in the gold medal game, at noon today, after defeating the Goulbourn Rockets, 4-2, in a semifinals this morning. Following a 3-0-0 record in pool play, the Panthers edged Kemptville, 2-1, in the quarter-finals. The Panthers' midget C team blanked the Kanata Rangers in their quarter-final and now play Brockville in the semis this morning.
Schedule & Results
The Panthers had five teams in action at provincials this weekend. The Atom A Panthers, lost 6-3, to Niagara Rapids, in the quarters, while the peewee BB team won their pool with a 2-0-1 record, but lost a playoff game, to the Waterloo Ravens, 1-0.
The bantam A Panthers failed to advance from their pool, going winless over
three games.

AYLMER, ON. - It is more hardware for their trophy case.
The St. Thomas Novice C Panthers grew their wave of momentum towards the Ontario Women's Hockey Association provincial championship, by winning the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League Novice Division One title, defeating the Mitchell Meteors, in the final.
Emma Bovin with two goals, Georgia Cusick and Sadie Payne, scored as St. Thomas took the series in three games, with a 4-1 win, at the East Elgin Community Centre.
Following a 1-1 tie in the opener, the Panthers blanked the Meteors, 2-0, in game two, back-stopped by goalie Brooklyn Smith. Bovin and Karis Beattie scored.
are 37-3-3 overall.

TORONTO, ON. - At the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) peewee BB championship, the St. Thomas Panthers head home with silver medals.
In the final, the Woolwich Wild blanked the Panthers, 2-0.
St. Thomas went 3-1-1 in the six team division, defeating Napanee, Etobicoke and Stoney Creek, tying Barrie and losing to Woolwich, 1-0. Woolwich never allowed a goal over six wins.

TORONTO, ON. - The St. Thomas peewee BB Panthers were 2-0, on day one of the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League championship weekend. St. Thomas blanked the Napanee Crunch, 2-0 and the Etobicoke Dolphins, 2-0. Their five game round robin continues Saturday with games against Stoney Creek and Barrie, before concluding on Sunday versus Woolwich.
The top two teams advance to the gold medal game.

and counting, for the number of shutouts the St. Thomas peewee BB Panthers have racked up on their opponents this season.
Madeleine Lee had a hat trick and assisted on goals by Gracie Gilchrist and Madelyn Pinnegar, as the Panthers silenced the BAD Blazers, 6-0, in game two of the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League first round series. St. Thomas takes the series in two straight games, after winning game one, 3-2, in St. Thomas, January 27.
St. Thomas finished first in the LLFHL West Division, with a 18-1-3 record and
are 37-3-3 overall.

ST. THOMAS - Karis Beattie had a trick and Kaydence Thibert scored twice, to lead the St. Thomas Panthers
over the Lambeth Lady Lancers, 6-1, in the Novice C final, at the Panthers on the Prowl hockey tournament, at the Timken Centre. Emily Ellis also potted a goal for the Panthers, while Olivia Smith picked up two assists.
The Panthers went undefeated in pool play, with a 3-0 record, before blanking the Ilderton Jets, 4-0, in the semi-finals.

TORONTO - Three St. Thomas Panthers'
team advanced to the playoff round, at the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA)
provincial championships.
The novice C Panthers lost in their bronze medal game, to the North Halton
Twisters. The Panthers went 3-0 in their pool, before losing in the semi-finals,
3-1, to Kincardine.
Both the Panthers' bantam B and peewee BB teams, lost their respective
quarter-final games. The peewees compiled a 2-0-2 record in pool play, while
the bantams were 2-0-1.
St. Thomas also had teams in the senior A, midget C and atom BB divisions.
The BAD (Belmont Aylmer Dorchester) Girls Blazers' peewee BB team was winless in three games, despite allowing only four goals.

ST. THOMAS - The three day Panthers on the Prowl tournament concluded today. The annual event this year featured 54 teams, from as far as Kincardine, Port Colborne and Kanata, competing in nine divisions, for novice, atom, peewee, bantam and midget. One of the finals featured the host organization. The St. Thomas Panthers blanked the BAD Girls Blazers, 3-0, in the midget C final, with Brittany Reaume, Leah Fellows and Mackenzie Adams scoring. Bethany Marino picked up the shutout between the pipes.

THOMAS - Danica Kidder netted a hat trick and Allie Tales had the game winner, as the St. Thomas Panthers held on to edge the Woodstock Wildcats, 6-5, in Lower Lakes Female Hockey League atom BB action, at the Timken Centre. Madelyn Pinnegar and Jenna Lowe, also scored for St. Thomas Kaitlin Hooydonk had three goals for Woodstock, two coming in the final minute of the third period. Anna Rupert, with two goals and Annalise Longworth, completed the Wildcats' scoring.
