ST. THOMAS – The St. Thomas Optimist Softball champions were crowned during the league's playoff tournament, August 17-19, at the Tarry Complex. Lenny's got past Gas Tech, 6-1, in the peewee final. Magic Touch certainly had it, defeating C.T. Plus, in the squirt final and Ansell's took the Atom title.

ST. THOMAS – Centennial Sports Club, William's Funeral Home and Maxwell's Foto Source, are celebrating playoff titles. The trio of teams are the St. Thomas Optimist Softball peewee, atom and squirt champions, winning their respective divisions, during the league's post season tournament, held at the Tarry Complex. Centennial upended RT Signs, 6-1, in the peewee final, avenging a round robin loss. William's upset undefeated Canadian Tire, 11-6, for the atom crown. Maxwell's took the squirt title, defeating Kinette's by six runs.
