WEST NORTHUMBERLAND, Ont. - The BAD U13C Blazers brought home silver from the Northumberland Halloween Havoc tournament. The Nepean Wildcats won gold, defeating the Blazers, 5-3, in the final today. Victoria Mott, Gabby Taylor and Zoey Johnston scored for the Blazers, the only team to score against Nepean. In the semifinals, Gracey Fournier and Victoria Mott scored in a shootout, for a 1-0 win over West Northumberland. The Blazers were 2-1 in pool play, losing to Nepean. Sofie Bubb-Clark had five goals and Eliza Lobodzinski one, in a 6-0 shutout of the Napanee Crunch. Bubb-Clark, with two goals and Fournier, scored in the Blazers' 3-1 tournament opening win against Stittsville.

OSHAWA, Ont. - Reece Laidlaw opened the scoring and was named player of the game, in the final, to lead the BAD Blazers to U18AA gold at the Fall Classic girls hockey tournament. The Blazers defeated West Northumberland, 4-1, in the gold game,with Jorja Kloepfer, Taryn Sullivan and Katie Griffiths also scoring. In the semifinals, goalie Cadie Collins was player of the game, with a 2-0 shutout win. Maddie Pinnegar, with a goal and one assist and Emma Greason scored. BAD opened the tournament with a 5-1 win against King Royals, led by a two goal performance from Pinnegar. Hayden Dunn, Jenna Couch and Kloepfer, completed the scoring. Dunn, Couch and Greasen, potted pucks in a 3-1 win over West Northumberland. Niagara gave the Blazers a 6-3 loss. Griffths, Greasen and Dani Kidder, scored for BAD.

TORONTO, Ont. - The Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Senior B Blazers are bringin home a provincial silver medal. The Blazers were edged 2-1, in overtime, by Twin Center, in the Senior B final, this afternoon at Westwood arena.
BAD was 5-0 going into the final, allowing just five goals, four in a 8-4 win over London Wheelers in the quarterfinals.

TORONTO, Ont. - The Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Blazers are going for gold in the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) provincial Senior B division. The Blazers, 5-0, blanked the Cornwall, 5-0, this morning in the semifinals, after winning a wild 8-4 quarterfinal against the London Wheelers Saturday night. BAD Girls take on Twin Centre in the final this afternoon.
The Senior B Blazers were one of four teams from BAD Girls and the St. Thomas Panthers, to advance from pool play to the quarterfinals.
The Blazers' U15AA were edged, 2-1, by the Sudbury Lady Wolves, in their quarterfinal.
Both the St. Thomas U11BB and U13A teams lost in the quarterfinals. Bluewater blanked the U11BB Panthers, 2-0, while the Windsor Wildcats shutout the U13A Panthers, 1-0. Mya Hepburn and Rechelle Kuiper, from Elgin County, playing with the Bluewater Hawks, are in the OWHA U18A final.

TORONTO, Ont. - Two St. Thomas Panthers and two Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Blazers' teams are heading to Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) provincial quarterfinals. Both the Blazers Senior B and U15AA teams advanced from their pools.
The Senior B Blazers are 3-0, with just one goal allowed, beating Belleville Bearcats, 2-0, Scarborough Sharks, 4-1 and Brampton Canadettes, 7-0. The U15 AA Blazers went 2-1 in pool play. Lilia Hunter, Pressley Stephenson and Mylie Ellis scored in the Blazers' 3-1 defeat of the North Halton Twisters. Payton Biser and Lilia Hunter scored in a 2-0 shutout of the Barrie Sharks. Ottawa shutout the Blazers, 3-0.
St. Thomas has their U11BB and U13A teams moving on from pool play.
The U11BB Panthers never allowed a goal over three pool games, blanking Central York 6-0 , Gloucester, 4-0 and Burlington, 6-0.
The U13A Panthers defeated Sault Ste Marie, 6-1, tied Oakville at one and fell to Central York, 3-1.
Just missing a quarterfinal berth were the U18BB Panthers, with a 1-1-1 record, edging Toronto Leaside Wildcats, 3-2, tying Oakville at two, but were blanked by Orillia, 1-0. The U18C Panthers were winless, falling to Orangeville, 2-0, Ilderton, 5-0 and Gloucester Cumberland, 3-0. The U13C Blazers dropped all three pool games, losing 1-0, to Chatsworth, 6-0 to South Huron and 4-0 to Smith Falls.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Panthers and BAD Blazers were well represented at the WOGHL all-star games. Shelby Laidlaw wins a provincial title with the London Jr. Devilettes and the St. Thomas U10 boys place fourth at their Ontario Cup.

BELMONT, Ont. - The Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) U13C Blazers are preparing for their OWHA provincial championship. Morgan Long and Gabby Taylor scored, but the Blazers were edged 3-2 by the Kitchener Lady Rangers, in an exhibition game Saturday. Sunday in Milverton, Long and forward Reese Knelsen participated in the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League (WOGHL) U13C all-star game. Knelsen scored the game winning goal in a shootout, for the South-West All-Stars.

AYLMER, Ont. - It was fitting for the U18A Blazers to close the Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Girls annual hockey tournament with a victory. The U18A Blazers led the host club, winning gold, with a 3-2 win over Stratford, in the final game of the three day tournament.
Christine Annett, Paige Poland and Reece Laidlaw, with the game winner, scored for the Blazers. Both Blazers senior B and U11HL teams took silver, while the U13C team finished fifth, with a 2-2 record.
Over 70 teams from as far away as Kincardine, Burlington and Barrie, competed in 12 divisions, U11 to senior, over three days at rinks in Dorchester, Belmont and Aylmer.
St. Thomas Panthers won the U11 house league title and took home silver in the U15HL, U11BB and U11C divisions.

BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Blazers finished with a 3-1 record in the U18AA division, at the 2Nations College Prep Series. The Blazers dropped their final game, falling 5-2, to the Barrie Sharks, to miss advancing to action on Sunday.
Taryn Sullivan scored both Blazers' goals. Grace McLean netted a hat trick and Sullivan bulged the twine twice, as the Blazers beat Soo Greygrounds, 5-2. Danica Kidder had two assists and Maddie Pinnegar, one apple.
BAD girls' U15AA team had a win, one tie and two losses in their four games.

BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Belmont Aylmer Dorchester (BAD) Blazers won both games today, day one of the 2Nations College Prep Series. Maddie Pinnegar scored twice, while Grace McLean and Dani Kidder, both had a goal and an assist, in a 4-2 win against Rideau-St. Lawrence. Kidder struck twice in the Blazers' 5-2 opening win over Guelph. Taryn Sullivan, Parker Riley and Woudenburg, also potted pucks. The three day tournament continues Saturday and Sunday. The Blazers U15AA have one loss and a tie.

WINDSOR, Ont. - Grace McLean netted a hat trick, with one assist and Danica Kidder had a goal and two assists, to lead the BAD Blazers to a 5-0 silencing of the Windsor Wildcats, today in OWHL Southern U18AA action.
Parker Riley also scored, while Maddie Pinnegar, Taryn Sullivan and MCraig, picked up an assist each. On Saturday, the Blazers lost at Saugeen-Maitland, 2-0.

DORCHESTER, Ont. - Taryn Sullivan scored twice and Parker Riley had a goal and one assist, as the BAD Blazers defeated Brantford, 5-2, in OWHL Southern U18AA action. Lilia Hunter and Grace McLean also scored. Danica Kidder picked up two assists, while Maddie Pinnegar had one.

AYLMER, Ont. - Christine Annett scored with under five minutes remaining in the third period, as the BAD Blazers tied the Lambton Attack, 1-1, in OWHL Southern U18A action, at the East Elgin Community Complex. Earlier in the day, the U13C Blazers, edged Lucan, 3-2 and the U15AA Blazers fell to Bluewater, 2-1. In U18AA action at Dorchester, the BAD Blazers dumped the South Point Stars, 5-1. The U15AA Blazers blanked Lakeshore, 4-0.
