OTTAWA, Ont. - The St. Thomas Shock brought home bronze from the Ontario Cup U14 boys division 12 championship. After a tournament opening loss to North York, the Shock won three consecutive games, including defeating Peterborough for bronze.

NEPEAN, Ont. - The St. Thomas Shock brought home silver from the Ontario Cup U12 girls division five championship. Host Ottawa South got the best of the Shock in the final, winning 36-18, April 16.St. Thomas was 4-0 during the round robin, defeating Brantford CYO, 40-9, Ottawa South, 41-23, Durham City, 50-17 and Centre Wellington, 50-14. At the Ontario Cup U12 boys division five tournament, in Fonthill, the Shock went 1-2.

OAKVILLE, Ont. - The St. Thomas Shock are Ontario Cup U10 champions. St. Thomas went 4-0 dribbling through the competition averaging 33 points per game while only giving up 10, to capture the Ontario Cup U10 girls Division three basketball title.

NORTH YORK, Ont. - Annalise Verbruggen had 19 points, Malia Camacho 15, and Ella Ambrose, 12, as the St. Thomas Shock defeated the Barrie Royals, 67-48, in the A/AA final of the Just for Her League, February 5, at the Tait Mckenzie Centre. The Shock finish the Just for Her League with a 10-0 record. St. Thomas was 8-0 after the first two weekends of league play, earning a bye to the semifinals, where the Shock dumped Vaughan City, 56-32.

KITCHENER, Ont. - The St. Thomas Shock have opened the girls' basketball season golden. The U16 Shock won their division at the Impact Jamboree tournament, with a 3-0 record. St. Thomas beat Brantford Warriors, 59-34, in the final, Saturday, after downing Halton Huskies, 56-44 and Burlington Force, 50-38.

Allison Sleegers and Annalise Verbruggen, both scored 12 points, as the Shock defeated Kanata, 34-25, in the Ontario Basketball Association Ontario Cup U12 girls' Division three gold medal game, at Ottawa, April 10. The Shock finished 4-0.

LONDON, ON. - The St. Thomas Shock brought home the silver medal from the under-12 boys Ontario Cup basketball championship. The Durham / Karwartha (DK) Dragons won the gold, defeating St. Thomas, 35-19, in the final, Sunday, at Westminster Secondary school. St. Thomas finished second in their pool, before upending the 3-0 Thornhill Thunder, 38-33, in the semifinals.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Shock are under-12 girls' Ontario Cup Division Five champions. The Shock finished 5-0 and defence carried the Shock to a 40-29 comeback win over the Milton Stags, in the final, at St. Catharines, April 7th.

ST. THOMAS - Move over March Madness. This Ontario Cup gold medal game had everything one hopes to see during the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
A big comeback, players diving on the floor for the ball, an intense back and forth battle, with the decision going down to the dying seconds of the contest.
The only part the St. Thomas Shock would have changed is the outcome.
After seeing an 18-point lead vanish, the Guelph Gryphons held on to edge the Shock, 44-43, in the under-10 (Novice) boys Division eight final, at St. Joe’s high school. Matteo Thomas led the Shock with 13 points. Jack Moore had eight points, Tyler Titchner, seven and Cam Renaud and Mason, four each.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Shock went 3-0 in their pool, to advance the gold medal game, at the Ontario Cup Novice under-10 boys Division eight tournament, at St. Joseph's high school.
St. Thomas beat Ancaster, 31-28, Markham, 38-28 and top seeded Durham, 41-35. The fourth seeded Shock will meet the seventh seeded Guelph, for gold, 1:30 p.m. Sunday, at St. Joe's.

ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Shock major bantam girls capped a 23-7 season with a bronze medal, at their recent Ontario Basketball Association under-14 Division eight provincial championship.

ST. THOMAS - By playing some of their best basketball of the season, the St. Thomas Shock major bantam boys are provincial champions. The Shock edged the Guelph Gryphons, 39-37, in the Ontario Basketball Association Cup under-14 Division 15 gold medal final, at St. Joe’s high school. Clarke Shackleton led the Shock with 12 points.

ST. THOMAS - Thanks to an undefeated record, the St. Thomas Shock will be playing for a gold medal. The Shock went 3-0 in their pool, earning a spot in the final, for the Ontario Cup provincial basketball under-14 bantam boys division 14 championship. St. Thomas defeated Penetanguishene-Midland, 49-45, KW Vipers, 51-46 and the Gladiators, from Whitby, 58-36.

LONDON, ON. - The St. Thomas Shock avenged an earlier loss to win the novice boys' gold medal medal in Division 11, at the Ontario Cup provincial basketball championships. The Shock defeated Sarnia Valhalla, 22-12, in the final, after losing to the same team, earlier in the tournament during pool play.
