Kennington fourth at Fall Brawl

DELAWARE, Ont. - D.J. Kennington of St. Thomas finished third at the Pinty's Fall Brawl race this evening Kennington led one lap, of a race won by Treyton Lapcevich. In the driver points standings, Kennington is sixth with 500 points.

Kennington places fifth in 200th Pinty's start

OHSWEKEN, Ont. - D.J. Kennington, of St. Thomas, placed fifth in his 200th career start for the NASCAR Pinty's Series, Wednesday at Ohsweken Speedway. The Ironman of the Pinty's Series, Kennington is the only driver to start every race in the history of the series. In career start 199 Monday, the Freshstone Brands Dirt Classic, at Ohsweken, Kennington finished third. The two-time champion (2010 & 2012), has a total of 24 wins, 109 top fives, 159 top 10s, and 15 pole awards. Kennington has also finished runner-up in the championship standings a record four times. Kennington is seventh this season in the Series points standings, with six top 10 finishes in nine starts.

Kennington eighth in Pinty's Series standings

SASKATOON, Sask. - D.J. Kennington is eighth in the NASCAR Pinty's Series standings, eight races into the 2023 schedule. The St. Thomas native has five top 10 finishes including 10th place, at Saskatoon in race one of the Leland Industries 125 July 24. Kennington placed 12th in race two. Kennington has finished sixth twice, his best result this season. Issues with overheating left Kennington in 17th place, 109 laps down, in the Bayer 200, July 23 at the Edmonton International Raceway.

Kennington finishes sixth

VALLEE-JONCTION, Que. - D.J. Kennington, of St. Thomas, finished sixth this evening at the Autodrome Chaudiere. Three races in to the 2023 NASCAR Pinty's Series season, Kennington is sixth in the driver's points standings, with 112.
Marc-Antoine Camirand took the checkered flag, preventing Treyten Lapcevich from winning a third consecutive race. Lapcevich leads with 139 points, followed by Camirand at 130.

Kennington eighth in Ebay 200

BOWMANVILLE, Ont. - D.J. Kennington, of St. Thomas, finished eighth in the eBay Motors 200 Sunday at Motorsport park, the second race of the 2023 NASCAR Pinty's Series. Treyten Lapcevich took the checkered flag for a second consecutive week.
This is 30th year Kennington, a two-time Pinty's Series champion and four time runner-up, and Castrol Canada have been partners in racing. In 2022, Kennington had four podium finishes including a win in Saskatoon. Over his career, Kennington, has 24 wins, and 109 top five finishes.

Kennington sixth in opener

INNISFIL, Ont. - D.J. Kennington, of St. Thomas, finished sixth in the Ultimate Bearing Experience 250 Sunday at Sunset Speedway, the opening race for the 2023 NASCAR Pinty's Series. Treyten Lapcevich took the checkered flag.
This is 30th year Kennington, a two-time Pinty's Series champion, and Castrol Canada have been partners in racing.

Kennington third in Newfoundland

AVONDALE, NFLD. - For a second consecutive race, D.J. Kennington placed third, this time, at the Pro Line 225, the fourth race on the schedule for the NASCAR Pinty's Series, Sunday, at the Eastbound Speedway. The St. Thomas native moves up to sixth place in the driver's standings.

Kennington third at Quickwick 250

VALLEE-JONCTION, Que. - D.J. Kennington finished third, in the Pinty's Quickwick 250, Sunday, at the Autodrome. Starting 10th, Kennington held the lead for 60 laps, but was passed by winner Andrew Ranger later in the race.
After three races, Kennington is seventh in the Pinty's driver standings, finishing 11th in both of the first two races.

Kennington wins back to back

DELAWARE, Ont. - D.J. Kennington won a consecutive checkered flag on the final day of the NASCAR Pinty's Series, at Delaware Speedway. Kennington won the QwickWick 125 today, after taking the Canadian Tire 125 on Friday.
The St. Thomas native closed the 10-race 2021 schedule with a fifth place in the Pinty's Fall Brawl, the final race of the season Sunday night. Kennington finished third overall in the Pinty's Series points standings, behind Andrew Ranger and champion, L.P. Dumoulin.
For the season, Kennington had two wins, five top five finishes and eight top 10's. The veteran led 77 laps over the season, fourth most among the drivers, completing 907 of the 1,011 total laps.
A season opening 17th place at Sunset Speedway and a did not finish at Bowmanville, hurt Kennington's run at the series championship.,

Final lap last turn pass puts Kennington in victory lane

DELAWARE, Ont. - D.J. Kennington is back in victory lane. A final lap last turn move to pass Treyten Lapcevich gave Kennington the checkered flag in the NASCAR Pinty's Series Canadian Tire 125, tonight at Delaware Speedway.
The two drivers had battled all race, with three lead changes between them. Lapcevich led 65 laps and Kennington, 60.
"I don't like doing that, but I drove inside of Treyton there at the bottom. I stayed right there at the bottom and he was trying to protect the bottom and we touched. Obviously it got sideways and we got through and got the win. For all of the people who support me, It's finally good to get the Castrol Dodge back in victory lane. They deserve it."

Third consecutive sixth place for Kennington

BOWMANVILLE, Ont. -D.J. Kennington, of St, Thomas was sixth for the third consecutive race, of this year's NASCAR Pinty's Series, Saturday, in the Olymel Grand Prix. Kennington finished in the same position at Trois-Rivieres and a road course (La Fernandiere 75) at Mirabel, Quebec, in August. Today, Kennington failed to finished the Clarington 500 due to a valve issue, completing just three laps. After six races, Kennington is eighth in the points standings.

Kennington second in General Tire 125

INNISFIL, Ont. - D.J. Kennington, of St, Thomas finished second in the General Tire 125, race number two of the NASCAR Pinty's Series, Sunday, at Sunset Speedway. Kennington recovered from a broken fuel pump in Frontline Workers 125, raced earlier in the day. His Castrol Edge Dodge only finished 69 of the 125 laps, to place 17th, after starting the event seventh.

Kennington captures checkered flag at NASCAR Pintys 125

HAGERSVILLE, ON. - D.J. Kennington wraps up the 2020 NASCAR Pintys season with the checkered flag. In the final race of the season for the series, the Pintys 125, Kennington in his Castrol Edge Dodge won by four seconds. This is Kennington's first race win since the 2018 season finale. The St. Thomas native finishes third in the 2020 points standings, behind champion Jason Hathaway and runner-up Kevin Lacroix.
In six races, Kennington had five top five finishes, including a fourth place in the Motormaster 125, raced earlier today.
Hathaway, from St. Thomas, now residing in Stouffville, had three wins and five podium appearances this year. Six races at three tracks over three weekends replaced the 2020 NASCAR Pinty's Series championship season.

Kennington posts two top fives from twin bill

FLAMBOROUGH, ON. - D.J. Kennington of St. Thomas, had a pair of top five finishes from a race double-header, today at Flamborough Speedway. Kennington finished fifth in race one on the day, the Pinty's 125.
Jason Hathaway had the pole and led all 125 laps of the first race. In race two, the Party Casino 125, Kennington started first, but slipped to a fourth place finish.
After four races, Kennington sits third in the points standings with 158. Hathaway leads the way with 175 points, followed by Kevin Lacroix at 167 points.

Two top six finishes for Kennington on Pinty's Series opening weekend

INNISFIL, ON. - On the opening day to the NASCAR Pinty's Series, D.J. Kennington had a pair of top six finishes. Kennington opened with a fourth place in the QwickWick 125, followed by a sixth in the Canadian Tire 125, at the Sunset Speedway
"Fourth and sixth is not where we wanted to be, but hopefully we can get things a little bit better," Kennington said in an post race interview. "We tried everything. We threw the kitchen sink at them."
His Castrol Edge Dodge did offer Kennington a challenge driving.
"There's something broken in the left rear, It keeps lifting the left rear tire off of the ground and I don't know why," explained Kennington. "We'll get it figured out and get it ready and get this Castrol Edge car up front where it belongs."
Kennington sits fourth in the points standings, six behind leader Jason Hathaway, the winner of the second race.
Next up on the Pinty's circuit is a stop at the Flamboro Speedway in Hamilton.
"It's just fun to be out there," Kennington added. "Everybody is rusty, but I'm happy just to be racing.

Kennington fourth in APC Series opener

HAGERSVILLE, ON. - In race one of the shortened five event APC United Late Model Series season, D.J. Kennington of St. Thomas finishes fourth in the Dayco 75, at the Jukasa Motor Speedway.
Kennington held the third sport after a restart, but was passed by Matt Pritiko on lap 61.

Kennington finishes third for fourth podium

LOUDON, N.H - D.J. Kennington, of St. Thomas, finished third, in race 12, of the NASCAR Pinty's series, at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His fourth appearance on the podium this season, follows a pair of second place results and a fifth place finish.
Kennington moves up to fourth in the Pinty's standings, with 10 top 10 results from 12 races. The series' finale is this Saturday at the Jukasa Motor Speedway, Hagersville, Ontario.
Entering the 100-lap race with second fastest qualifying time, Kennington kept with the leaders, until he pitted for fuel during a caution. Kennington dropped to the back of the field, but worked his way back to fourth place, before a late move gave him third spot.

Kennington has third top five race in Nova Scotia

ANTIGONISH, N.S. - Posting his third top five result of the season, DJ Kennington finishes second in his Castrol Edge Dodge #17, behind winner Jason Hathaway, in the NASCAR Pintys Bumper to Bumper 300, at the Riverside Speedway. It is back to back weeks for Kennington placing in the top five, after placing fifth at the Les 50 Tours Hotel Le Concorde in Trois Rivieres.
The St. Thomas native also ties his best result of the season. Kennington was second at the Bayer Velocity Prairie Thunder Twin, July 24. Kennington ranks fifth in the Pinty's standings this season, with seven top 10 results from nine races.

Kennington fifth at Grand Prix Trois Rivieres

TROIS RIVIERES, QC. - D.J. Kennington had his second top five result of the NASCAR Pinty's Series season, finishing fifth in the Les 50 Tours Hotel Le Concorde, at Grand PrixTrois Rivieres, in his #17 Castrol Edge Dodge. Kennington sits fifth in the Series season points. The St. Thomas native's best result is a second place at the Bayer Velocity Prairie Thunder Twin, July 24.
