St. Thomas Shock U10 boys, IEM tournament champions. The Shock defeated Guelph Royal City, 35-27, in the final February 5, in Newmarket. "Our team defence," Shock coach Mike Luyks said. "As coaches, we have been talking about it from practice number one and for young kids we're especially proud of how they have all bought into it. We've got an awesome group of kids and families and the kids keep progressing as the year goes on." The Shock have a tournament in Brantford later this month, before their Ontario Cup in March.
