AYLMER, Ont. - The St. Thomas Panthers made Burlington Barracudas' goalie Penny Wager the busiest player on the ice.

The Panthers out shot and out chanced the Barracudas in the third period but settled for a 1-1 draw, in game two for both teams in the Southern League U13A semifinal at the East Elgin Community Centre.

Piper Summerville gave Burlington a 1-0 first period lead. Tegan Dunn tied the affair in the second period when the Panthers came more alive.

In the third period, the Panthers held the edge in play and created scoring opportunities but couldn't beat Wager.

The teams meet again Saturday in Burlington.

In the three team semifinal, the Panthers have a tie and a 2-0 loss to Woolwich, while Burlington has a pair of ties. Woolwich sees Burlington at home Sunday and hosts the Panthers Tuesday, March 29.

The other semifinal features Peterborough and Barrie.
