 Winning games when it matters most 

   

   The Panthers' U18 BB won their final after losing all three round robin games,

   at the Panthers on the Prowl tournament

ST. THOMAS - They went didn't win a game in the round robin, but the St. Thomas U18 B Panthers turned it around for the division's playoffs.

The U18's was the lone host team to win their division at the Panthers on the Prowl tournament, this weekend in St. Thomas and Aylmer.

Tessa Pellerine scored the game's lone goal, with Brianna Caeiro assisting. Goalie Rachel Annett had the shutout.

The Panthers lost all three games in the round robin, including 2-1, to Ilderton and 4-2 to the B.A.D. Blazers. However, in the semifinals, the Panthers upended the undefeated Blazers, 2-1.

In the U11 BB final, the Bluewater Hawks edged St. Thomas, 1-0, in overtime.

The U13 B Panthers fell in the semifinals, 2-1 to the Chatham Kent Crush.

The B.A.D. Blazers were blanked, 1-0, by the Wilmot Wolverines, in the U15 BB final.

Chatham Kent won the U13 house league, U13 B and U15 C finals.

Other final winners were Kincardine Kinucks (U13 C, Lakeshore (U15 house league), Sarnia Sting (U15 B), Lambeth (U18 C) and Ilderton (U11 C).
