   London curling club team wins 45th annual ladies bonspiel

ST. THOMAS -  Janet Legue and her Highland Curling Club rink are the 2025 Belles and Brooms champions.

The team of Legue, Brenda Rouse, Rose Kuchynski and Stacey Farley, won the 45th annual bonspiel, at the St. Thomas Curling Club, November 25.

Second spoy went to Miolyka Steele and her Highland rink of Mary Thomas, Judy Clark and Elaine Blakeborough.

Highland also took third place, with the team of Ruth Alexander, Sue Aubin, Sophie Protopapas and Karen Weldon.

Diane Marcou and her rink of Cherie Hall, Mary McVicar and Pam Andryc, represented the host club.

The event with the theme this year of A Jumbo Christmas, featured teams from Ilderton, Forest, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, London and Ingersoll.
