Tep-cchun second at TVRA girls' golf

   SDCI's Mekenna Kehoe wins A flight by one shot over the St. Joseph's Ram

KOMOKA, Ont. - St. Joseph's Ram Jadelina Tep-cchun finished second in A flight, at the Thames Valley Region Athletics (TVRA) girls' golf tournament at FireRock Golf Club, shooting a 79 over 18 holes.

Mekenna Kehoe, of Strathroy District Collegiate, was one shot lower, carding a 78.

The Medway Cowboys' trio of Gabby Harrison, Katie Amos and Sydney Hewitt, won the A flight team championship. Harrison finished third as an individual, firing an 81.

London Aquinas was second in the team standings and London Oakridge, third.

Jaylan Garrett took the B flight title, firing a 50 over nine holes, leading the London Lucas Vikings to the B flight team title.

Woodstock Collegiate was second in the B flight team standings, followed by the Central Elgin Titans (Sandra Nurton, Rebecca Nurton, Brianna McCague, Danni Hambleton) in third place and St. Joseph's Rams (Andie McGugun, Katelyn Fox, Emma Hawkes), fourth.
