Kettle Creek with their first ever title are local soccer champions

The best in TVDSB Elgin County elementary school boys and girls' soccer was featured this week during the senior and junior tournaments at Athletic Park.
The Mitchell Hepburn Mustangs won both the AA senior girls and junior boys' gold medals, beating the Trudeau Voyageurs in both games. The Mustangs lost to Summer's Corners, in the senior boys' final.
The Southwold Cougars won a marathon penalty kicks session, edging Trudeau, 1-0, in the AA senior girls' final. Sarah Pfeffer booted the decisive kick. Goalies Brianna Ross, for Southwold and Trudeau's Korenza Spehar could not be beat in regulation time.
Kettle Creek PS brought home their first ever medal, capturing the senior girls' A title, defeating New Sarum. KC never allowed a goal winning all five games. KC's junior girls also took gold, in the A final.
The Elgin Court Coyotes defeated Kettle Creek, in the A senior boys' title game.
