DORCHESTER - It was Dylan Buckholtz and Lucas Wilson to the rescue.

Wilson scored twice and Buckholtz the game winner, as the Dorchester Dolphins regrouped for a 7-4 win over the Lucas Irish, in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

The pair helped pull the Dolphins from a mid game collapse, scoring within 45 seconds of each other during the 12 minute mark of the third period.

The Dolphins led 4-0, just four minutes in to the second period, with Ryan Root, Ryan Poley, Lucas Wilson and Brent House tallying.

But the Irish fought back to even terms, by the five minute mark of the third, scoring four times over a 19-minute span.

However, the Dolphins, who now haven't lost in 44 consecutive regular season games, scored three times in 4:38 with less then eight minutes remaining, as Buckholtz, Wilson and Dylan Van Dusen, buried pucks.

"We relaxed a little too much. We wasted a couple power plays when we had the chance to really put them out," Wilson said. "That just goes to show that type of team we have. We pulled through when we had too."

There was no panic on the bench, though fans of the 'Phins likely were somewhat stunned watching a four goal lead vanish.

"We were fine. Everybody was ready to go. We just let off a bit," Wilson said.

Dolphins' defenceman Colin Osler, picked up three assists.

Dorchester was without forwards Braedon Dorion and Mike Tuffin.

The Dolphins (3-0-0) visit Aylmer (0-2-0) Saturday, with the opportunity to extend their regular season undefeated streak to 45 games, dating back to the final game of the 2015/16 schedule.

"It's a good start. Some of us are still trying to get to know each other and learn each other's tendencies. We have 12 new guys, so it'll take some time to get use to everyone," said Wilson. "It's (streak) something special. We're not thinking about that, but it's something that is there. We're more focused on continuing to develop as a team, than records or we haven't loss since this time or whatever."
