ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Hawks feasted twice on Cobras.
Not the traditional dish for Thanksgiving, but the Hawks won two games of a London Minor Football triple header against the Cobras, today at 1Password Park.
The Hawks remain undefeated in U12, moving to 5-0, with a 41-0 devouring of the Cobras, dominating both sides of the ball.
Quinn Humphreys had three touchdowns, while Brody Bale and Xavier Looper, had one TD each. Looper and Josh West, both caught two-point converts.
Matt Berthiaume led the Hawks' defence with six tackles and recovered three fumbles, one he took ran back for a touchdown.
The defence picked up a two-point safety, to complete the scoring.
Mason Craftchick made six tackles, Kahbrel Luckas and Cian DesRosiers, three each and Daniel Draper and Carter Sullivan, both two.
The Hawks are tied with the Rams a top the division and meet next Sunday in a first place battle.
In U10 action, Julious Sarfo scored three TDs for the Hawks, while Keaton Cameron and Hudson Unger, had one each, in a 35-21 win.
Leighton Moir scored three TDs for the Cobras.
St. Thomas improves to 3-2, third place in the U10 division.
The U14 Hawks couldn't make it a home sweep, falling to the Cobras, 32-20.
Brady Congdon, with two and Blake McClenagan, had TDs for the Hawks. Kieran McCready caught a pass for a two-point convert.
Tied at 20, the Cobras made it 26-20 early third quarter.
The Hawks missed an opportunity to tie, failing to find the end zone with four downs in the red zone.
Late in the fourth quarter, the Hawks fumbled the ball to the Cobras, leading to their final major.
The U14 Hawks are 1-3-1.
