Eagles, Saints, both win, 3-0

  Eagles soar over Titans with Moore

   

    East Elgin forward scores twice in 3-0 win; SDCI also blanks LDSS, 3-0

LONDON, Ont. - Leah Moore scored twice, leading the East Elgin Eagles, over the Central Elgin Titans, 3-0, in Thames Valley Region Athletics field hockey, at City Wide Fields.

Hannah De Coutere also had a goal, while goalie Rylee Siwek posted the shutout, in the Eagles' first win of the season.

The Strathroy Saints received goals from Taylor Pranger, Zoe Jakimczuk and Allie Johnson, in a 3-0 blanking, of the Lord Dorchester Beavers.

Caria Bolton was in net for the Saints, who improve to 3-0 and have yet to allow a goal. Strathroy and the Parkside Stampeders, who shutout the Medway Cowboys, 1-0, share first place. Dorchester and Medway, are both 2-1.
