STRATHROY, Ont. - The St. Joseph's Rams were everywhere on the course.

St. Joe's, the school with by far with largest amount of runners, handily captured the overall team title, by winning five of the six team divisions, at the Thames Valley Regional Athletics Tricounty cross country championships, at the Gemini Sportsplex.

The Dorchester Beavers' senior girls prevented a St. Joe's sweep of the divisional team titles, for boys and girls at senior, junior and novice.

Brothers Tristan and Aiden Coles led the Rams, finishing tied for first in the senior boys' race. Harrison Belanger was fourth for the Rams, followed by Will Mantel in eighth place.

Dorchester's Hannah McIntyre took the senior girls' individual gold medal, followed by teammates Tegan Ceccanese in second place, Ashley Legg, in fourth, Julia Wessman, in sixth and Mackenzie Latimer, 15th.

Ram Jayden McMullen won the junior boys' race.

East Elgin Eagle Adrianna Brom was the junior girls' champion.

Novice champions were Charlotte Piscione, of Woodstock Collegiate, for the girls and Noah Crowell, of Woodstock Huron Park, for the boys.

Males and females ran together at all three levels. The seniors had a five kilometre route, while the juniors had four kilometres and the novices covered three kilometres.

Since Thames Valley pulled out of WOSSAA and OFSAA competition, the cross country season ends.
