Parkside goes undefeated in last warm-up prior to the TVRA playoffs

ST. THOMAS - The Parkside Stampeders warmed up for the upcoming volleyball playoffs, by winning a six team tournament, hosted by the Central Elgin Titans.
The Stampeders went undefeated, going 10-0 in games, including defeating the London South Lions, in the final, two games to none. In the semi-finals, Parkside beat St. Joe's, two straight, while South beat the host Titans, two games to one.
Nick Sturk was named Parkside's player of the game, for the final.
Playoffs for both the Thames Valley Regional Athletics and London District, start Thursday, November 2.
Parkside owns top spot in the TVRA South Division, undefeated in matches for both senior and junior.
The St. Joseph's junior squad sits atop the District standings, at 9-1.
The Stampeders conclude the regular season with a match at Central Elgin CI, Tuesday, October 31.
