 Parkside splits football night games

 

   The Stampeders lose 41-14 in senior action, but defeat South Lions, 28-12 in junior

   while the St. Joe's Rams remain undefeated at 4-0 at both levels

ST. THOMAS - Connor Ward and Logan Dore both had two touchdowns as the Parkside Stampeders defeated the London South Lions, 28-12, in Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) junior football under the lights at Parkside.

Logan VandenDriessche kicked four extra points, as the Stampeders improve to 3-1.

In senior action, South won 42-14.

Ryan King and Merrick Rollins scored TDs and Mason Coombs booted both extra points.

Andre Thompson with three, Chase Smith, two, and Kanye Nethersole, had TDs for South, with Owen Williams kicking the points after touchdown.

 

Rams undefeated

Both the St. Joseph's Rams senior and junior football teams are undefeated at 4-0

Giacomo Pierinelli and AJ Bernadas had two touchdowns, as the Rams defeated the Central Golden Ghosts, 49-28, in senior action in London October 11.

Gage Hamilton, Mason Glover and Kiean Silva, also scored TDs, while Ante Raic booted seven extra points.

In junior play, the Rams blanked Westminster Wildcats, 35-0, led by Hudson Glover's three touchdowns.

Gage Lincoln and Andrew Goods, had a TD each and Curtis Correia kicked five extra points.

St. Joe's host Oakridge, at both levels, for first place in the Walzak division, Friday, the 20th, starting with the junior game at 6 p.m.
