ST. THOMAS - The St. Thomas Hawks spent Thanksgiving Monday feasting on Cobras.

The Hawks swept a London Minor Football triple-header at 1Password Park, winning each of the U10, U12 and U14 games.

Bennett McIntyre had five touchdowns as the Hawks devoured Cobras, 42-14, in the U10 encounter.

Cooper Bale also had a TD.

Oliver Grimes recovered three Cobras' fumbles for the Hawks.

St. Thomas sits fifth, with a 2-3 record, with two regular season game remaining.

In U14 action, the Hawks stomped on the Cobras, 47-15.

"Best game of the season. That's a Hawk effort right there," head coach Andrew Walker said. "We played really well. It's been awhile since we've been able to start strong and finish strong. Every kid was cheering and excited for each other. That's what you want, the kids that passionate about it."

Brendan McCausland had three TDs, Nate Guest had a pair, and Hudson Glover and Brady Congdon, one TD each. Glover also caught a two-point convert and there were three single point converts.

Quarterback Eoin DesRosiers tossed three TD passes, as the Hawks improved to 4-1.

"Defence had a rough start, but they made some great adjustments," Walker said. "We came off the ball strong and really didn't turn back. We went at them. That's what I call a complete offensive effort, from the o-line to the running backs. "

The Hammers, who handed the Hawks their only loss last week, lead the U14 division, at 5-0.

St. Thomas meets the 4-1 Rams next week.

Over the U12 division, the Hawks silenced the Cobras, 28-0, to improve to 3-2.

Quinn Humphreys racked up 97 yards and scored one TD. Brody Penhale compiled 73 yards and one TD.

Brody Ross and Kieran McCready, also has TDs and Tiernan DesRosiers, caught a two-point convert.

Quinton Herbert contributed eight plays for 31 yards.
