ST. THOMAS - The Mitchell Hepburn Mustangs will be playing for both the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) South-West boys and girls' AAA volleyball Valley championships.
The Mustang boys dusted the Southwold Cougars, 25-16, 25-8, in the TVDSB SouthWest AA regional final.
The Mitchell Hepburn girls defeated the Trudeau Voyageurs in their Southwest final.
Southwold earned a spot at AAA Valleys, defeating the Callwood Cobras, 25-8, 25-15, in the boys' SouthWest wild card match.
Callwood lost the SouthWest girls' A final, to the Rodney Aldborough Bobcats, 25-20, 25-7. The Bobcats head the Valley boys' A final.
The Voyageurs regrouped to defeat Aylmer Immanuel Christian in the girls' SouthWest wild card match, to qualify for AAA Valleys.
The New Sarum Huskies won the SouthWest girls' A title, beating Immanuel Christian.
The West Nissouri Wildfire, out of Thorndale, will join New Sarum at the Valley girls' A final, held at Clarke Road secondary school.
