ST. THOMAS - It is Silver Stick International bound for the St. Thomas minor peewee Jr. Stars.
Matthew Soares, Owen Lawrence, Gavin Hearn and Matthew Masschaele scored in a 5-0 shutout of host Woodstock, in the minor peewee A final, of the Silver Stick regional tournament.
St. Thomas went 5-0, also defeating Woodstock, Stoney Creek, Burlington Eagles, in pool play and New Hamburg in the semifinals.
The International tournament is in Newmarket in January.
In the regional minor atom final, St. Thomas lost to Glanbrook.
