Dorchster off to both A soccer finals

   Boys win first playoff game in a dozen years

DORCHESTER, Ont. - The Lord Dorchester Beavers will play in both the Thames Valley Region Athletics (TVRA) South-East 1A boys and girls' soccer finals.

Mirsad Novack-Hasic scored twice, while Kyle Gostis and Aaron Huizenga had singles, as the Dorchester boys eliminated Glencoe, with a 4-1 victory.

Replying for Glencoe was Josh Hamilton.

Midfielder Hannah Vickers, noticeable througout the girls' game, scored twice in the Beavers' 5-1 win over the West Elgin Wildcats.

Lauren Gellner, Samantha Rice and Jamison Estabrooks, completed the Dorchester scoring.

Breaking the shutout early in the second half was Wildcats' Kenzie Fink.

Dorchester's boys see West Elgin, in the final, while the ladies take on Glencoe.

Glencoe eliminated Voaden, in the other girls' semi-final, 1-0.

The SouthEast champions move on to the WOSSAA tournament, at Goderich, May 25.
