Danica Kidder scores a pair of tries during a 31-0 shutout of WCI, in girls rugby

ST. THOMAS - The St. Joseph's Rams' girls rugby team continue to be stingy on defence.
Danica Kidder twice grounded the ball in opponent's in-goal area for a try, leading the Rams, to a 31-0 shutout of Woodstock C.I., in Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) action, Friday, at 1Password Park.
Alyssa Sutcliffe, Coral Chordekar and Nadia Van Asseldonk, each had one try.
Eavan Mercer kicked two two-point converts, while Kendra Sheeller booted one.
The Rams are 3-0 overall, outscoring the opposition, 67-5.
St. Joe's continues TVRA play, hosting London John Paul II, Monday, May 16.
Back in 2019, in the WOSSAA A/AA final, the Rams edged Stratford St. Mike's, 12-10, to advance to OFSAA. At the high school provincial championships, St. Joe's went 1-2.
