Seven different players strike in a 7-3 win at East Elgin to close regular season

AYLMER, Ont. - The St. Joseph's Rams will be the top AA team in the Thames Valley Regional Association (TVRA) South Division for girls' soccer.
The Rams dumped the East Elgin Eagles, 7-3, in the both teams final regular season game, to finish at 4-1.
Averie Lindsay, Ashley Betancourt, Lily Wojtas, Georgia Macinnis, Imogen Salin, Emelia Marcinkiewicz and Sarah VanVelzer, scored for the Rams.
The Eagles had Annelise Borm, Sarah Simpson and Hope Crossett, find the inside of the mesh.
For the South-East AA semifinals, on Thursday, St. Joe's will face the two seed from the East Division, while East Elgin will see the one seed.
The AA final is Friday, at a site to be determined.
In boys' action, Steve Miller scored the game's only as the Eagles blanked St. Joe's, 1-0, in a battle of 4-0 teams.
The boys playoff format is the same as the girls.
The South-East winners head to WOSSAA, held at the North London Athletic Fields, Wednesday, May 25.
Single-A playoffs
The Central Elgin Titans takes on the Glencoe Gaels, at 1Password Park, while Dorchester hosts West Elgin, in both the South single-A boys and girls' semifinals, Wednesday. Both finals go Friday.
WOSSAA is at Strathroy Holy Cross, Wednesday, May 25.
