Dylen Belanger took the gold medal, for the bantam boys' 80-metre hurdles race, at the Athletics Ontario bantam, midget and youth (BMY) track and field championships, a two day event, held at Terry Fox Stadium.
Belanger, competing with the St. Thomas Legion club, won the race in 13.47 seconds.
The local track and field club had 16 athletes combine for 22 top 10 performances.
The Legion's Youth boys' 4x400-metre relay team of Liam Clark, Hayden Bell, Jordan Palmer and Jackson Medeiros, finished second (3:45.69).
Placing third was Harrison Belanger, in the bantam boys 1200 metre race (3.42.79) and Clark, in the youth boys' 110-metre hurdles (14.97 sec.).
Kenzie Smyth tied for third spot, in midget girls' high jump (1.50 metres) and placed sixth in both the midget girls' 80-meter hurdles (13.17 sec.) and long jump (3.86m).
Bell finished fifth, in the youth boys 110-metre hurdles (15.26 sec.) and seventh, in both high jump (1.75m) and shot put (10.48m).
Arthur Stanat placed sixth in midget boys' shot out (11.66m) and eighth in javelin (31.79m).
Camryn Roth was sixth, in the bantam girls' 300 metres (46.52 sec.).
Placing seventh was Hallee Knelsen, in the midget girls' 1200 metres, Kyra Vellinga, in the midget girls' 300 metres (43.78 sec.) and Michael Roth, in the midget boys' 100-metre dash.
Medeiros finished eighth, in the youth boys' 110-metre hurdles (16.49 sec.).
Katherine Heard also placed eighth, in the midget girls' 80-metre hurdles (13.28 sec.), while Tayah Desousa was ninth in the race (13.35 sec.).
Lily Francis was 10th, in the both the midget girls' high jump and 80-metre hurdles.
Francis, Heard, Desousa and Vellinga, combined to place fourth, in the midget girls' 4x100-metre relay race (52.85 sec.).
Jadyn Luna, of Thorndale, with the London-Western club, finished seventh, in both the bantam girls' 150-metre dash (20.79 sec.) and 80-metre hurdles (15.2 sec.) and eighth, in the 80-metre dash.
