LONDON, Ont. - In a clash between two undefeated teams in league action, the St. Joseph's Rams wasted no time extending their season.

KenJesse Ude drained 19 points and Davis Zacharias-Streib dropped 14, as the Rams ran over the St. Mary's Warriors, 58-28, in the District junior boys basketball AA final, at Fanshawe College.

Elijah Yi chipped in with nine points for the Rams. The Warriors were led by 17 points from Enock Tsekpo.

St. Joe's went undefeated through the Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) South Division, going 8-0, while St. Mary's took care of the East finishing with a 10-0 record.

In the District semifinals, the Rams ousted London Regina Mundi, while St. Mary's eliminated London John Paul II.

"St. Joseph's boys have been working super hard all season and have been going non-stop all year," coach Kevin Paiva said. "Defense has been solid all year, but the offense outbursts of Davis Zacharias-Streib, Eijah Yi and Grade 9 KenJesse Ude has made the team tough to beat."

The Rams now take their 26-4 overall record to the WOSSAA AA tournament, at Listowel February, 23rd.  St. Joe's plays the host school, in the semifinals, while London South faces Tillsonburg Glendale.
