South wins wild one against Parkside
 

 Third period roar quiets Stampeders

   

   The South Lions score four times in the final frame to defeat Parkside,

   10-6, in TVRA girls hockey

ST. THOMAS - Four third period goals, including two from Stella Hiscox, carried the South Lions to a 11-6 win against the Parkside Stampeders in Thames Valley Regional Athletics girls hockey, at the Joe.

Parkside led 4-2 after one period, but South took a 7-6 advantage in to the third period.

Anna Muscat and Ashlynne Brown scored twice for the Stampeders, while Kira Collard and Korina Velema, had one goal each.

Hiscox finished with five goals and two assists. Ainsley Welton and Mackenzie O'Hansen, both scored twice. Kiera Hurry, also with three assists and Bella Long, had a goal each.

South improves to 2-0, while Parkside owns a 0-1-1 record.
