Stun Beavers 51-49 in senior boys basketball on home court

ST. THOMAS - A buzzer beater by Davis Streib keeps the St. Joseph's Rams undefeated in senior league play.
The Rams are 5-0 and in first place at both the senior and junior levels in the Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) South-East division.
Down 49-46 to the Dorchester Beavers with 30 second remaining in the fourth quarter, the Rams tied the score on a three-pointer from Kurt Oberus.
After the Beavers failed to regain the lead, Streib gave the Rams victory.
St. Joe's led 30-26 at half. The Beavers went on a 19-10 run in the third quarter for a 45-40 lead
Streib led the Rams with 18 points, Elijah Yi had 17 and Oberus, 10.
Jaden Sebinagana scored a game high 20 points for the Beavers. Andrew Urquhart had 10 points.
The Rams lead the senior South-East, followed by Woodstock Collegiate, at 4-1 and St. Mary's, 3-0.
In junior action, the Rams took care of the Voaden Vikings with a 40-plus point win.
St. Mary's is second in junior at 4-0, while both Parkside and Woodstock Collegiate are 4-1.
