Carr goes 2-2 in beach volleyball

COVINGTON, LA. - Ally Carr, of Shedden, and partner Victoria Corcoran, the University of New Orleans Privateers' number two beach volleyball women's team, went 2-2 in NCAA action.

On Friday, Carr and Corcoran defeated Texas A&M Kingsville's Meghan Merlino and Macy Berg, 21-15, 21-18, but lost to Texas A&M Corpus Christi's Brooke Anderson and Guilana Corrales, 16-21, 20-22.

Next day, Carr and Corcoran dumped Nicholls State's Kylie Lockhart and Devon Bright, 21-11, 21-9 and fell to Tulane's Kaylie McHugh and Eva Torruella, 14-21, 19-21.
