St. Marys made it 2-1 on the power play in the second, but Dylan Wilmott restored the Stars two goal advantage two minutes later.
It was deja vu early in the third, with the Lincolns pulling to within a goal and the Stars responding with Luke Wachowiak scoring two minutes later.
Just 75 seconds later St. Marys had the game at 4-3.
