WELLESLEY, Ont. - Three third periods goals carried the the Wellesley Applejacks to a 6-3 win over the Dorchester Dolphins in PJHL action Friday.
Leading 3-2, after 40 minutes, Wellesley took command scoring three times in the third for a 6-2 lead.
Alex Joyce, for a 1-0 lead, Tanner Ducharme on the power play, tying the game at two and Jayden Hazelwood, with 39 seconds remaining in the third, scored for Dorchester.
Dolphins' Quinn Gavin-White picked up his team leading sixth assist.
Dorchester (1-2) host the Tavistock Braves Saturday.
Tavistock is the reigning Doherty division champs and made the PJHL final last season.
