ST. THOMAS - Postponed for a month, the St. Thomas Cardinals made it worth the wait, winning the 18U final of the London Badgers tournament.
St. Thomas dropped Woodstock, 11-3, in the final, Friday, July 24, at Emslie Field.
Aiden Ward and Cam Morrison combined to go five for eight, including a Morrison three run double in the sixth inning.
Pitchers Wyatt Atchison and Andrew Oakes kept Woodstock off balance.
The final originally scheduled back in June, was postponed due to rain.
