ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. - Eve Buczkowski of Talbotville (photo) had four top five results at the LeTour del'Abitibu Glencore, a stage cycling race, July 10-13.
Buczkowski, in the U19 women division, finished stage one (85-km) in third place, stage two (185-km) fifth, stage three (100-km) 15th, and stage four, a time trial, in third.
In the sprint challenge on day four, Buczkowski won silver.
The Tour de l'Abitibi is the only one of the nine UCI Junior Nations Cup races to take place in the Americas.
At the Coupie de L'Avenir four stage race, July 1-5, Buczkowski placed sixth, 10th, fifth and fourth.
Next for Buczkowski are the UCI (Union Cycling International) junior track world championships, August 19-23 in Belguim.
