ST. THOMAS - The Big Cat Showdown is back in town.
The St. Thomas Panthers annual preseason three day female hockey tournament has teams from across the province in the city for the weekend.
Over 40 teams in eight divisions are looking to open the 2026-27 season with tournament gold. Or at least shake off the summer rest with some preseason skates.
Games are occurring at the Joe, Memorial and East East Complex.
The U18BB Panthers are 2-0, the U15B Panthers, 2-1, and U13A Panthers, a win and two ties.
