MELBOURNE, Ont - The Bear Creek Storm opened day one of the International Softball Congress (ISC) Legends double knockout tournament with a 1-1 record.
Brent Crocker had a pair of home runs and six RBIs leading the Storm to a opening 15-1 thrashing of the Wabash Sting in just three innings Thursday.
Bear Creek pumped out 13 hits, including a Rob O'Brien two run single to open the scoring.
The Storm may have wanted to save some of those hits for their second game, a 5-1 loss to Parksville.
Bear Creek features several players from the St. Thomas Storm, in the Middlesex Men's Fastball League.
