ST. THOMAS - After dropping just their second game of the season the St. Thomas Stars made the LaSalle Vipers feel their disappointment of the result.

Holding a 3-2 advantage after two periods, the Stars put away the Vipers in the third period, scoring three times for a 6-2 win Sunday at the Joe.
That prevented back to back losses after losing at Stratford Friday.
The Stars had six different goal scorers, with Cade Kinnear, Carter L'Heureux, Cole Edmundson, Reid Harper, Andrei Gudin and Brodie Pithie.
Graham Littlejohn, Ryker Kesler and Will Burgess, each picked up two assists.
Both Vipers goals, from Tristan Kitchen and Jonah McIndoo, came on the power play.
Littlejohn leads the Stars with 13 points, on three goals and 10 assists. Tyran Lawson has a team high seven goals and three assists, for 10 points. Edmundson has six goals and two assists and Burgess, three goals and five assists.
Pierson Clute and Darcy Dewachter, both have a goal and six assists, to lead the Stars defence.
The Stars remain in first place contention, sitting third with a 9-2-0 record, for 18 points, two behind Chatham and four back of conference leaders St. Marys. The Stars do have one game in hand on both teams.
St. Thomas host St. Marys, Friday, October 23.
