LONDON, Ont. - The St. Thomas 9U Cardinals opened their London District Baseball Association (LDBA) playoffs on winning note, downing Sarnia, 15-12.
Nolan Dodson batted three-for-four, with three RBIs, to lead the Cardinals' 22 hit attack.
Ben Wakefield, Brett Gustavson and Cohen Coombs, had three hits each.
Game two was postponed due to rain.
The playoffs continue Sunday.
