Titans take two South badminton titles

   Parkside qualifies 12 for South-East senior championship

TILLSONBURG, Ont. - The Central Elgin Titans won two divisions while the Parkside Stampeders advance 12 athletes.

The two schools led the way at Thames Valley Region (TVRA) South Badminton senior badminton today at Glendale high school.

Titans' Reina Walters took the girls singles title, while Brady Hunter and Brandon Dews won boys doubles.

At the East Division tournament in Woodstock, Tyler Michiels of Dorchester won boys singles.

The top four in each of the five divisions at both the South and East tournaments, move on to the South-East championships, at Woodstock College Avenue, Thursday, April 17th. WOSSAA is at London Saunders, Thursday, April 24.

South junior badminton is Tuesday, April 15th, at East Elgin, and junior South-East at Parkside, Tuesday, April 22nd.
