ST. THOMAS - The Parkside Stampeders will be the top team heading into the Thames Valley Regional Athletics South-East AA/AAA playoffs, for both boys and girls' soccer.

The Lady Stampeders completed an undefeated regular season run at 6-0-0, dumping the Central Elgin Titans, 4-1, under the lights at Parkside C.I.

Savannah Williams, Halle Szabo, Taylor Goodhue and Klara Lattanzio, on a penalty shot, scored for Parkside. Paige Gillespie replied for the Titans.

Earlier in the day, Zeke Gubinczki had two goals and Brendan Smida and Colton Wiacek, as the Stampeder boys doubled up on the East Elgin Eagles, 4-2, to finish the schedule at 4-0-2.

Rob Redecop had both goals for the visitors.

The TVRA South-East semifinal games go on Tuesday, May 21st.

Parkside will host TVRA South-East AA/AAA boys and girls' semifinal games, both against Tillsonburg Glendale.

East Elgin heads to Ingersoll for their boys' AA semifinal. The Lady Eagles will also be at Ingersoll.

Central Elgin will host WCI in a South-East 1A semifinal, for both boys and girls.

The second girls' semifinal features the Dorchester Beavers hosting the West Elgin Wildcats.

Dorchester earns a berth in the boys' 1A final, thanks to their 4-1 regular season record, the best among the 1A schools.

Both the South-East 1A and AA/AAA finals, are Thursday, May 23rd.

The Western Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WOSSAA) championships, for all levels, are Tuesday, May 28th.
