ST. THOMAS - High school curling is in full sweep of the broom, with last year's boys and girls' Thames Valley Regional Athletics South-East finalists, leading the way again this season.
The East Elgin Eagles, the reigning South-East champs, skipped by Caitlyn Evely, sit atop the girls' standings, with a 4-0 record. The Eagles face Woodstock CI (3-0), on January 17.
On the boys' side, East Elgin is 4-0, while Tillsonburg Glendale is 4-1. In the rematch of last year's South-East final that Glendale won, 10-9, the Eagles earned some revenge this season, beating Glendale, 7-5, on December 11.
Today, Parkside and Lord Dorchester's
boys' teams met at the St. Thomas Curling Club.
