ST. THOMAS - The Parkside Stampeders scored all four of their penalty kicks to edge the St. Joseph's Rams, 1-0, in the girls' Elgin Cup final April 25 at 1Password Park.
Parkside completed a 4-0 day, blanking East Elgin, 1-0 and Central Elgin, 5-0, before downing St. Joe's, 3-1, in the round robin.
Jade Lawrence led the Stampeders with three goals, while Elise Neville and Payton Lessard, had two each. Breah Payne, Taylor Pettit, Allie Tales and Anna Muscat, chipped in with one goal each.

The Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) regular season begins Monday, April 29th.
St. Joe's, Parkside, the East Elgin Eagles and the Dorchester Beavers, are in the South-East tier one division, with St. Mary's and Huron Park from Woodstock.
The Central Elgin Titans in the South-East tier two division, with Ingersoll, Tillsonburg Glendale, Woodstock College Ave and Woodstock CI.
The West Elgin Wildcats are now in the Central
Division Devos, with Glencoe and London schools.

The TVRA playoffs begin mid May with WOSSAA set for Thursday, May 29.
St. Joe's host the OFSAA AA championships, June 6-8, at the school, 1Password Park and Athletic Park.
