ST. THOMAS - High school soccer has returned.

The Medway Cowboys went 4-0 to win the Parkside Early Bird girls soccer tournament, Thursday, at 1Password Park.

In the final, Medway blanked the host Stampeders, 2-0, with Maddy Dredge, on a penalty kick, and Lowyn Weber scoring. Keeper Delany Stacey with the clean sheet.

The Stampeders went 2-2, losing twice to Medway and blanking both the St. Joe's Rams and Central Elgin Titans. Lily Ryder had the lone goal in a 1-0 win over the Rams. Abby Wipfler, with two goals, Tazia Lessard and Elise Neville, scored against the Titans. Roslyn Boundy picked up both shutouts.

St. Joe's beat Central Elgin, to finish third.

The Thames Valley Regional Athletics (TVRA) regular season begins Tuesday, April 19.
